This will be the first race of the weekend, with so many great sponsors along with a family friendly event. Bring the family out for the Freedom 5K that starts downtown and heads up Main Street to Evergreen through the historic Officer Row & Fort Vancouver National Park, over the landbridge and along the “Mighty” Columbia River. We finish in the heart of downtown Vancouver at Esther Short Park. A great kick-off to the Vancouver USA Marathon! Don’t forget to check out the VUM Active NW Sports & Fitness Show~

Family Friendly
Walk or run this event! – Bring the kids, the strollers, grandma, and even papa. This is a great community healthy run. We called it the Freedom 5K, because we are so lucky to live in a wonderful area, with the "Freedom" to be healthy and active!
Age Group Awards
Participants will compete in the following male and female age groups:
16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
Top Male & Female receive (Plaques)
Top Masters Male & Female receive (Plaques)
Top 3 in age groups will receive a medal
