About the Race

The formation of this Marathon began in August of 2009, with an idea! After we received the Mayor's blessing, we were off! Many months of strategic planning have gone into this project already, along with the development of many solid partnerships. This idea has launched a Marathon that will be competitive in the national field, be a Boston Qualifier, and grow to be a community event that participants support year after year. Energy Events is proud to have teamed up with two key running stores on this event from the Portland/Vancouver Area; Fit Right NW and Foot Traffic. With their support, we will bring another magnificent marathon to the northwest! We believe in the many aspects that Vancouver USA has to offer to the area, and to the nation.

"Vancouver USA: a great place to Live, Work & Run!"
